Fundamentals Learning Center

This day care has really gone down. I was not fully aware of what we were getting into after we were fully vested. I regret putting my child in a place that has absolutely no concern for children. The space is alright and a few staff who are great but the people who run it are inexcusable.

This is a great place for my 4 year old.

1. The staff there are very friendly and most of them are working there for many years and have experiences with kids;

2. My 4 year old like the food they provided, they change the menu every two weeks;

3. The playground is spacious and the classroom is clean.

4. They have special activity every week.

5. When I tried to make an appointment to visit the center, the said any time is fine, no appointment needed. What I like most is they said parents can come to the center at anytime to see their child's performance.

I sent my three year old here after my wife decided she wanted to go back into the workforce. We looked around and this place kept coming up. We decided to check it out since it was convenient to our work downtown and our house in the NW suburbs. I am so glad we did check it out. My son seems to really enjoy it here and his teachers seem really in touch with children and a true desire to work with the little ones. I also have had nothing but a positive response with regard to the management, the director has been there for over a decade and it seems she has gotten the place running seamlessly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to my work colleagues with children. Overall a great place to send your kids.

Fun-damentals is a great center. We started there many years ago and have had all three of our children attend. The staff members have been there for a long time and know all the kids in the center. It is like one big giant family. Plus, the director is easy to talk to and is at the center many hours each week. Even the owners are there a lot and know all of the kids in the center. Fun-damentals has been around for many many years always with a top quality staff and program.

I had a terrible experience with the management. They were very unprofessional and rude. Personal information was given out about my child to someone calling in who was not related to my daughter, very scary!!! The only thing they could say about that is it wasn't a big deal and maybe I should find a new center. The women I spoke with were not helpfull and didn't have any respect, the owner actually hung up on me. The center also smells bad and it didn't look very clean. I would not advise anyone to trust there children at this center.
