Founded in 2001, Tool Dynamics is a full-service provider of complete reverse engineering package for the metal forming industry. Based in Columbus, Ind., the firm operates in-house reverse engineering equipment, 3-D complicated software packages, computer numerical controlled (CNC) equipment, vacuum heat treatment and coating processes. Its capabilities comprise CNC machining, CNC electronic discharge machining, tool steel welding, mold/tool polishing and more. In addition, Tool Dynamics provides its clients with TD/TDX coating services. Some of its routine work includes modifying and/or inserting tooling, making a spare tooling detail or fixture and creating a computer model of current tooling, fixture, or finished part.
