The Partnership for Health and Accountability (PHA) and the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) presented the prestigious Quality and Safety Award to St. Francis for its project that improved diabetes care. The project titled, “Innovations and Strategies to Improve Inpatient Diabetes Care,” won third place in the Hospitals with Greater than 300 Beds Category.

Healthcare providers can use multiple standardized tests to determine whether a patient suffers from BPH or not. You can take the Symptom Score Index test for BPH (developed by the American Urological Association) and discuss the results with your doctor if they suggest you might have BPH. If your GP needs more information to diagnose you, they may perform a standard physical test. In addition to that, urine and blood tests can help shed some light on whether or not you have BPH. The Auxiliary recently purchased a digital mammography machine for the Elena Amos Diaz Women’s Center. Our current project is the Sara Ruth Carroll auditorium that is under construction and is anticipated to be opening in the fall of 2013.
