I have checked in the Monument/ Colorado Springs area for an excellent service for my wedding. The limousine companies I called sounded great with affordable prices and nice limos. I looked at the other companies limos which were not as pictured in their websites and were actually pieces of junk and where highly over priced! When I went to Monument Limo they offered to always charge less than competitors and their

vehicles were much cleaner and at least 10 years more new than other companies vehicles. The day of my wedding Monument Limo rolled out a red carpet, offered free champaign, and the driver was very professional! No other company would have been able to make my day as huge of a success as this one. I highly recommend it!

I cant believe this company is still in business. I booked a limo for son's prom then he said I will email confirmation but will take a few days. I checked back in about a week or so and he has no memory of our 3 diff conversations and told me it was my fault for not following up earlier. Wow. Never rent a limo from them.

Worst Custome Service Ever - They left us stranded

I highly recommend you avoid Monument Limousine. We had scheduled a limousine from them for 10 people to go to a charity fund raising event. The limo that arrived would only seat 8 people comfortably. The driver had us call one of the owners (Alvesta) to see if we could get a larger rig. When we called the owner was belligerent. He said that we must be “Big People” and that’s why we don’t fit. For the record, our group was an equal split of men and women from 5”6 to 6’3” with weights ranging from 125lbs to 200lbs. Over the phone he kept talking about how new and nice the Limo we were in was. The Limo was new and in good shape though some of the glasses were not clean and had lipstick prints on them, but that wasn’t our issue. We said we didn’t care if the Limo was new or old, we only wanted one that would fit our group. We agreed to pay an additional $175 for a larger model and took the time to ride, from the north side of Colorado Springs, to their depot at 3430 Fillmore Ridge Heights off Fillmore and I-25, to get the larger model, knowing this would make us late to our event. When we arrived we experienced the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my entire life for anything! Alvesta began by verbally assaulting and yelling at us while pointing his finger at people in our group and accusing us of trying to scam him for the bigger unit. He told us it would be $450 more for the larger limo. When we asked about the $175 he told us on the phone, he changed his story and said that was for each direction. We questioned the differences in mathematics and through the conversation, if you can consider him yelling at our group and telling us how this happens all the time and he isn’t going to take people trying to get a good deal from him anymore a conversation, he said he can only take us one-way because there is a chance somebody else will want the limo. We called the other owner (Alex) to protest and find somebody reasonable to talk to, but he was equally rude and belligerent. At this point we were fed up and said we would just cope with the original limo, but they then refused to provide us service at all and left us stranded without a way to get to our charity event. Luckily we found a nearby Thrifty car rental with a van that would safely and comfortably fit our group and made it a couple of hours late. I STRONGLY suggest you avoid Monument Limousine at ALL costs. Their motto is “Creating a Higher Standard in Limousine Service.” If this higher service I’d hate to see what’s worse. If you decide to use them, be sure your group is made up of “small people” and you don’t deal with the owners. Be sure to get the exact “comfortable” capacity for the limo you will be receiving. The driver was polite and accommodating, though he was dressed in shorts and a polo shirt.

Thank you 4friendlyadvice for commenting and saying what you think. I strongly disagree with your review. Your limosuine was a 10 passanger stretched 130in. this would fit your group. and response to your comment about the price is not accurate because you offered us another $100 extra(rountrip) and I responded by saying "No". It was going to be $450 "Each way". And in response to the first part of this review I never told your party to come down to the office and agreed that they were going get a bigger limo, after talking to someone in your group they said "ok we'll keep the limo were in" after that you responded back by telling me that you were coming to my office (uninvited)as the conversation ended it ended by you telling me the cell phone was breaking up and then it hung up so then I tried repeatly to call back and that' s how you ended up in our office "uninvited". and for me being belligerent. I appolligized for my actions but that doesn't excuse the rude and threating behavier in your group, after I ask the gentleman in your group to remvove his sun glasses to talk to me. And for saying my driver was wearing "shorts and a polo shirt" he was wearing blue jeans, sandles and a short sleeve dress shirt I was wearing the shorts and a polo shirt.and the driver last year was wearing shorts. I wanted to respond on this to so I can let you know how inaccurate you are about your facts in this review. And for your group in making "dumb dessions" like having my driver drive down to the thrifty rental car and renting a van knowing that you all were drinking in our limousine prior to renting this vehicle, "Responsible Adults" would not make this types of dession, this will explain a lot about you and your group ended up in our office uninvited. In closing to this reponse to the review you should also talk about how generous we were last year in giving you a bigger limo at a discounted price because one of the owners was invited to play "Mud Volleyball" with you this to me is a classic case of someone trying to take advantage of our nice gesture and the next time you want to respond to a review about our company don't leave out the "critical details" of how this all started, I really think the alcohol had something to do with this beacause "Responsible Adults" just don't behave like this. Drinking and driving is not illeagal but when you do both together it is. and one more thing about the glasses having lipstick prints on them and I'm just saying maybe they got there by you and your group dinking in our vehicle and I do know drinking could make you forget things like leaving out accurate details.I sure hope you all learned something about this situation beacause I did and that is trying to be nice will sometimes backfire! So we will learn next time we to be more careful of who we put in our Limousines.
