Our Objective is to educate our students to a degree of competence that will enable them to systematically and professionally perform the required skills of a cosmetologist. Colonial Heights Beauty Academy is nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences. The National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for postsecondary schools and programs of cosmetology arts and sciences, electro logy, and massage. All work is performed by students and supervised by licensed instructors. Cosmetology Course - Day and Evening Classes available. 1500 hours required for state licensure. 1500 hours required for state licensure. Cost $7,940.00 includes enrollment fee ($100.00), application fee ($50.00), books & kits ($595.00), mannequins, smock.... everything you will need to complete the course. The $100.00 enrollment fee and $50.00 application fee is required 2 weeks prior to the class start date. If necessary, payment arrangements are available for the kit and books. To make arrangements please see the financial officer. Classes start every other month...call for the next starting date. Additional fee upon graduating. Practical and theory state board exams are required by everyone in order to receive a state license at a fee of $115.00. Monthly payments will vary.
