National Safety Apparel, also known as NSA, is one of the leaders in the design and manufacturing of protective clothing and safety apparel for high-heat environments, glass-cutting applications and electric arc exposure. In October 2004, NSA was registered to ISO 9001:2000, with design, by Smithers Quality Assessments of Akron, Ohio, guaranteeing that its various electrical, heat protection and cut-resistant Kevlar clothing lines are fabricated to exacting standards and production methods. The company s sales professionals provide on-site visits to help customers choose the right products, materials and sizes for specific applications. In addition, NSA s product development professionals are available to create even the most unique, made-to-order safety apparel. National Safety Apparel is located in Cleveland where it employs nearly 100 people.
