I highly recommend Matthews Motors to ANYONE in the market to purchase a reliable, late model car!!The experience was professional, respectful, and stress free. I'd done my research and located the car I wanted, made an appointment with Robert Walker(with excellent assitance from Dallas Britt). They're both personable, patient, with exemplary financial knowledge as well. They got me a great deal on the car I wanted, without attempting to coerce or discourage me regardless of my less than perfect credit. They have a great selection to choose from, and the car buying experience was short, pressure free and extremely satisfactory in my opinion...............I'd refer this dealership to anyone who's been discouraged/declined anywhere else to give Matthews Motors a shot. It's well worth the trip!!

I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Mustang convertible from Matthews Motors and I couldn't be happier about the experience. Robert Walker helped me with my purchase and was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. It was a quick and pain free experience. There were some hangups with the vehicle I purchased; the hydraulic cylinders that control the convertible roof were actually messed up when I purchased the vehicle (something that they really couldn't have a way of knowing at the time of the sale). The convertible top ended up getting stuck a few days after purchase and all I had to do was call Matthews Motors and they completely took care of the situation. They sent someone out that day from Auto Interiors and Tops (Raleigh NC) to get the top down for me so I wouldn't suffer any water damage. That was just a temporary fix tho, I had to put the car in the shop for 8 days to have the problem completely fixed and Matthews Motors not only covered the repair costs but also loaned me a vehicle free of charge to drive while I was out of my vehicle. I would recommend Matthews Motors to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, they really do care about you as a customer and stand behind their sales 100%. They are friendly, caring, and very professional. You won't go wrong making a purchase at Matthew's Motors.

Seems he never got tired of helping us or laughing at our silly jokes, while still staying focused on 'business at hand'. My heart was set on a Kia SOUL, and that is what we drove away on. Usually when purchasing a car, the person you dread the most to talk with is the finance guy-sales manager, but we had an awesome experience with Jeryl Murph. He was super friendly, helpful in explaining the financial details, and oh yeah, he laughed at our silly jokes, too! Before going to Matthew Motors, I told my husband, "We are going to see if they are really as friendly as they seem on the TV commercials!" To our surprise, they were! Awesome group of business people!

We just purchased our 5th car (10th car including extended family purchases) from Matthews Motors in Clayton. I can find a variety of good quality, late model cars there without having to drive all over central NC. I purchased a 2014 Nissan Murano in perfect shape with very low mileage. Previous to this I had a 2006 Nissan Altima which I just gave to my daughter. (Other cars our family purchased there were Chevy, Jeep, Buick, and Honda. )

We found the car we wanted, made contact and put the deal together in one phone call. Perfect!. None of the back and forth or cheesy car sales gimmicks. Car was everything the Campbell said it would be. Wife is happy!

I have lost count of the number of vehicles our family has purchased from Matthews Motors over the past 21 years. Suffice it to say, it is a LOT! Every transaction was better than the one before, and this one was quicker than most. Some minor cosmetic work was needed on the left rear bumper, and I was asked to return today with the vehicle so it could be properly detailed. Excellent service, outstanding people! Highly recommend Matthews Motors for all your used car needs!

I think if you are looking for a dependable used car, this dealership would be your best option. They have a great selection of vehicles. Their salespeople are friendly and very helpful, without bugging the crap out of you. They are very knowledgeable about the vehicles they have, and if they don't know the answer to a question, they go out of their way to find the answer for you. One of the best things they offer are their warranties. Their warranties go way beyond what most used car dealerships offer! I would buy here again and would recommend them to anyone who is not looking to get ripped off.

Purchasing a car was always a horrible experience so was not looking forward to purchasing a new car until i met Kim, she did a fabulous job and got me approved for the car i wanted in just minutes. I will definitely buy from Matthews Motors in the future.

Looking to purchase a car can be stressful and even difficult. I chose Matthew's Motors after a friend of ours told us about them. So I called and expected to get the normal hoop la. Well I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate sense of relief I felt. I was put through to a salesperson named Emily. She was so very friendly and informative right from the start. The dealership actually wanted to help us get the car we had our eye on. They were about us! No beating around the bush for anything! Putting all the information in front of us to make sure we were all on the same page! The atmosphere was comfortable and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The finance manager was on point with doing his job so that we got the best deal. Stop wasting time with other dealerships in this area and go straight to Matthew's Motors!!

Decided it was time to stop sinking money into an old car. Went to Pete Fowler, who had been good to us last time, and he was even better this time. Very easy to work with, very fair and honest. Got a pretty good deal (at least to me), and drove away in a better car than I'd anticipated. Finance guy - cannot remember his name now, maybe it was Alan, and the lady he was training, were a pleasure to work with. Only issue was it took a long time, because it seemed the poor guy was overwhelmed (thus the training of a new person.) Third car we've bought from them, will be back... hopefully not too soon, though!
