Funke's Custom Cabinets

Bill only likes it one way. His way. He'll tell you what you like. I went to select wood, at Funke's office. It was very small, and stuffy, with no room to pull out and compare stain choices. The office guy was completely out of it, which was not helpful. The selection of wood species with available stains was really small. I'm not picking a stain without seeing an exact sample. When you're investing thousands of dollars on a project-you want to be confidant.



Overall I felt Bill thought we were not worth his time. I know exactly what I like, and I had pictures to show what I had in mind. He wasn't interested, frankly I would rather spend money with someone who listens, and isn't a jerk.

We were lined up with another cabinet maker & when we called him to tell him the sheet rock was in place, he told us he was too busy to do our job. We scrambled to find a new company. We went to Funke's, saw their operation & asked them for a bid. Bill, Wayne & the rest of the crew were great to work with. They did the job in a timely manner & the end product was more than we expected. We couldn't be happier & we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for custom cabinets.
