Northern Lights and Accents

I have been very impressed with the people at Northern Lights over the years. They seem to be knowledgeable regarding their products, prompt with orders and extremely honest. I was helped within seconds of opening the front door, even though the shop was busy.

Though I was inadvertently overcharged for an item, they had called me and left a message before I even got back to my office five minutes later. They promptly took care of the mistake over the phone, and were very apologetic.

They have pointed me in the right direction for parts that were electrical in nature, but do not fall under the purview of lighting. They have also recommended licensed professionals for work I needed done.

I have been very happy with their willingness to share their expertise and problem solving abilities. I love doing business with the same people, too. They start to know the way you like things, and do their best to keep you happy!

I've built several houses for my wife and I over the years. The people at northern lights are always so helpful. My wife is always the one who picks out all of our fixtures and deals with the design aspects of our houses. She always tells me how helpful they were and we get our stuff on time!!...and they almost always beat the "big box store" prices. I just wish every supplier worked like this company. I saw the other negative review and had to tell our story as this has never been our experience. H.L.

I was looking for some lighting for my cabin and thought I'd try something other than the box stores. I found Northern Lights and was happy when I walked into their store and saw that, even though it was a fairly small store, they seemed to have a very large selection. I wasn't greeted when I walked in so I started browsing around. It didn't take long to see their whole display. Still, despite the small size of the store and 3 obvious employees, I still went ungreeted and unacknowledged. My wife and I were starting to get annoyed at being ignored but went to the counter to look through some catalogues. After 15 minutes of being ignored I decided they didn't want my business so I left. Ironically, I was greeted and helped by a Home Depot employee within 60 seconds of walking in.
