        Great spacious Irish pub in the loop with good selection of cocktails. Food is great bar food but takes a little.

        I've been to Emerald loop several times and always been very pleased with the quality of the food. I had the pleasure of going with a large group one day and we all ordered something different and sampled each others plates. The must tries at this place are: The Chicken and Goat cheese salad - sounds simple enough but everything is in perfect balance in this salad at EL and the raspberry dressing is the perfect accompaniment. Also, the Corned Beef is AMAZING. I think it's slow roasted in Guinness or something like that... it's fabulous. This place is definitely worth checking out - and you can enjoy a variety of games on their multitude of TV's. 5 stars for EL.
