We offer affordable surface prep options that ensure your MAACOVER looks great. A little surface repair before the paint goes on can ensure it holds that gloss and shine for years to come. Step 3: Surface Sealer - Sealer plays that all-important role of establishing a barrier between the old and new paint. This ensures consistent color and a higher gloss throughout the entire painted surface. At Maaco we offer 3 grades of sealer. Maaco was told to replace front bumper, front side/door driver panels, replace light and horn. Maaco gave estimate of 17 hours to fix. Car left first thing on Friday morning. Called Tuesday afternoon. Jeff said they didn't work on Sat/Sun & needed 2 days. Rental car extended to Wed. Jeff said only needed to be painted, ready Thursday am. No phone calls made to them, turned in rental car & went over to Maaco Thursday afternoon almost closing. Brian stated wouldn't be ready until Friday afternoon. Stated calling me. No phone calls were received at home as claimed by Brian. How many "problems" can crop up when you can't paint 3 panels on a car? Why was there no entry of any phone call from Maaco, nor did they return the calls of my insurance company, as told?
Awesome customer service and great work! I have had 3 cars completed by the Maaco on Smith Ave. in Chesapeake. One of my vehicles was involved in an accident and they fixed it as if it never even happened. I also had my other 2 vehicles painted all over with the urethane and clear coat, I was amazed with the quality of work. People ask me all the time if I bought a new car. I recommend this shop to everybody!

Awesome job! I brought my wrecked car to this Maaco on Smith Ave and they did a great job, it looked like it never even happened. I also brought another vehicle of mine there for a overall paint job and they did another great job for a reasonable price! I would recommend this place to everyone!
Do not take your car here. i took my 2004 GTO to have the door handles and the rear quarter panels painted. i was told it would take 3 business days. which it did take, but when i went to pick up the car the first time the scratch in the door handle looked like they just sprayed paint over top of it, they did not sand and prep as what was quoted. and on the rear quarter panel right side the paint was chipping off. also looked like it was not prep well at all. so i go inside the car and there is white powder substance on the passenger seat and dash. the lady said oh its probably just pollen, okay not sure where your from but i've never seen white pollen. so i leave the car so they can correct there error's and it takes another 3 business days and i return to pick it up the the door handle appears to be in good shape and the paint hasn't chip on the rear yet. but there is some scratches under the door handles which look like they are from a buffer or something similar, also some ding's in the quarter panels that weren't there when i drop the car off. i'm just fed up with this place and if you can avoid it do not go there i will be contacting the manager. very unhappy customer and this is the first time i've ever wrote a negative review about a place.
