Emily A. Boshkoff, Psy.D, BCBA is a Licensed Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Emily completed her doctoral training at the University of Indianapolis in 2014. Emily has extensive training in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other neurological disorders, children with complex medical conditions or genetic disorders, and children who present with severe and challenging behavior. Emily received most of her training in outpatient hospital settings, and most recently worked at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in their Center for Disabilities and Development prior to moving to Charlottesville. Emily enjoys providing evidence-based behavioral interventions for children under 12 with a range of challenges, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, early intervention services and parent training for young children on the autism spectrum, and assessment of learning, behavioral, intellectual, and social disorders for adults and children of all ages. Emily loves working with kids under the age of 6, and looks forward to bringing that specialization to PDA. Emily also provides some limited psychotherapy services for adults, primarily related to parenting and relationship challenges, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depressive disorders.
