Professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, accessible to talk to, honest & forthright about the inspection results, quick & efficient in responding to me and the facility to which they visited to do the inspection. This is my second time with AAG & I will use them again. .
AAG truly saved me from purchasing a nightmare! I was attempting to buy a collector hot-rod vehicle "sight-unseen" and had AAG perform an inspection, and they did an amazing job, and literally saved me from purchasing a vehicle which was in terrible shape, but looked like showroom quality in the online pictures. Thanks guys!!!!
Prior to purchasing a 1970 Chevelle SS396 I contacted AAG for a professional inspection of this vehicle. Extensive inspection and review of the car and it's documents revealed substantial issues far in excess of what I had been told by the owner. The Inspector forwarded a mega checklist and over 150 photos to me for review with a follow up call from the President of AAG for a final comprehensive overview. Best $$ spent and saved me from making a major mistake. THANK YOU!
Very professional. On time. Great communication. Insurance company took their report and agreed to AAG's calculated value in less than two hours. Very pleased.
I used AAGs experts for two appraisals and rec’d excellent/ independent fdbk in both cases with comprehensive written reports articulating all aspects of the ‘66 Mustangs I targeted for potential purchase. The report had HD pictures to best document the findings in each appraisal.
Dustin was very professional & prompt in his assistance to get a local expert to make contact with me & arrange an appt with the sellers.
In both cases, I was instructed to contact Larry for a final discussion on the vehicle vs the asking price of the seller. Larry has passion for his business & tells it like it is about the true market value of the car. Obviously the final decision is up to the well -informed buyer to either use the expert fdbk to further negotiate a better deal and/or move forward or kill the deal and keep searching for a better fit for the money!
I appreciate the help from everyone at AAG and highly recommend the overall value rec’d for a modest fee from an independent & objective appraiser.

I have used auto appraisal group so far for 2 pre inspections and so far they have saved me about $20,000 and very helpful in finding the right car for me. They were super helpful and very professional. If you ever need a pre-inspection or a auto appraisal these guys are the one for you
I was looking to purchase my first classic car. I contacted AAG and they really helped me understand the car and helped me with my decision. I will definitely use them again.

To Mr. Larry Batton and staff I would like to thank you for the inspection svc that you provided for me.Your reports was extremely complete with great pictures plus good return call back information from all inspectors. I was able to make a decision on weather I would pursue any trucks immediately. You and your inspection team were 1st class and I will use the again. Thank you very much for your svc. Ed Diaz
AAG recently performed a pre-purchase inspection and appraisal for me on a classic muscle car that looked awesome and which I was seriously thinking about buying. The invaluable information AAG provided for me through the inspection revealed that the car was, indeed, not what it appeared to be, and that it would be a financial mistake to purchase it. The money spent on the inspection and appraisal was more than worth the cost considering the loss I would have certainly incurred had I bought the car. Not only will I utilize their service again in the future, but I unhesitatingly recommend AAG to anyone who is considering the purchase of a particular used car and needs a professional opinion and appraisal to make a confident decision.

Very pleased with inspector (Tommy) and the report on a 1967 Plymouth I was interested in buying. Because I was several states away I needed an advocate. Talking with AAG's owner Larry was very enlightening and enjoyable. I did not purchase the vehicle because of information and advise I received from them. I was satisfied with their service to cause me to use them again on another vehicle. I would recommend them.
WE HAVE BEEN USEING LARRY & REBECCA'S SERVICES FOR 4-5 YEARS NOW. THEY HAVE DONE APPROX. 10 APPRAISALS FOR USE WITH A PLEASANT, EFFICIENT MATTER WHICH GIVES YOU THE CONFIDENCE THAT
THE NUMBERS THEY ARRIVE AT ARE ACCURATE AND REALISTIC.
I AM, ONCE AGAIN, USEING THEM ON A 1957 CHEVROLET THAT I RECENTLY AQUIRED. I LOOK FOWARD TO WORKING WITH TOM PALUSO WHO HAS DONE OTHER CARS FOR US.
A GREAT TESTAMONY TO THEIR REPUTATION COMES FROM HAGARTY INSURANCE, A LEADER IN THE CLASSIC AUTO INSURANCE FIELD. THEY RELY 100% ON LARRY'S NUMBERS. IN THEIRS (AS WELL AS OUR) OPINION, THEY ARE TOPS!
THE FINAL REPORT ONE RECEIVES IS PROFESSIONAL & COMPREHENSIVE, AS WELL AS REALISTIC, IN HELPING TO PROPERLY INSURING OUR CLASSICS.
I recently had the importunity to buy a 1937 Chevy Master Deluxe Sports Coupe Rumble Seat.
My only problem was it was 2500 mile's away.
I need to have it checked out by a professional.
AAG, did the appraisal on the Le May collection and the Tucker Papers, they validated all of Tuckers papers from their invoices to their bankruptcy filing claims.
What better credentials, could I have asked for.
The seller of the 37 Chevy wasn't very forthcoming with all the defects of the car.
Hence AAG came into play, they contacted their agent Tony Grillo, who is a restorer himself, a licenced appraiser.
He sent me 67 photos and notes, explaining the paint thickness, engine spec's, visual damage, tire age, Etc. etc. etc.
Just too much detail to go into here.
In short that inspection by AAG and Tony Grillo, save me $ 28,000 and a lot of heartbreak had I just taken the dealers word, that the car was cherry.
This is one great, company, and I will personally recommend them to anyone who can't or doesn't have the ability to inspect an auto themselves.
Respectfully, Joe Romano, East Tennessee
Incredible service on all levels, and an Eyes Wide-Open(ing) experience! For having never bought a vehicle other than through a local dealership, along with never having purchased a used vehicle, here I was looking at purchasing a 1969 Firebird from over 900 miles away. I knew I needed to have the vehicle inspected and appraised, so I asked the national lender I was using to finance the loan "Who are some good reputable auto inspection/appraisal companies?" Auto Appraisal Group (AAG), was one of the very few that were recommended and were nation-wide. Although the finance institution was rather comfortable with the classic car dealership I was working with, in regards to being very reputable, I knew I needed to have someone represent our interest, especially with this significant of an investment.
Once I called and requested the inspection and appraisal, a very seasoned inspector/appraiser was at the dealership within 2 days, and had the 12-page detailed report along with 60 pictures of every nook and cranny of the car, along with the report, the next night. That's called Service! Even more amazing was when I called and asked about the appraisal of the vehicle, I actually had the opportunity to speak directly to the owner of AAG who gave me more information about buying classic cars than I could've ever learned through reading books, or browsing on the internet. There is something to be said about generations of experience when buying a classic or used vehicle, especially when those people are working for you! My conversations with the appraiser and the owner actually drove me to stop, take a step back, and take the emotional aspects out of the process, and look at it much more pragmatically. My wife and I took two more days to debate the pros and cons before we finally decided to move forward with the purchase, and note, we did so with our “eyes wide open”.
I would like to thank the AAG team for going above and beyond to help us as we journeyed through this experience, and for teaching us more than I could have ever asked for from anyone. Thank You!
Sincerely,
Two very satisfied customers
Friendly, Professional and helpful. I highly recommend this company, they provided me with the information I needed. Thanks to Larry and all the other employees.
They were extremely thorough and spent a lot of time with me going over the results of their inspection of a 1950s classic convertible. They truly cared about helping me make the right and informed decision on buying the car and helped me avoid a purchase I would have regretted. Will definitely use AAG again in my next prepurchase inspection. They are great.
Claiming someone else's feedback and ellicting it as your own is a deplorable act and speaks not only to your character but to your business practices as well.
You not only did not take the time to correct it (reach out to me to fix it), you used it to your advantage for the time it was here.
You are now earning this 1 star review for this lack of action on your part. Learn from this mistake.
Caveat Emptor.
Was not sure about using an Appraisal Group Service before but after working with the Auto Appraisal Group I'm more than satisfied i did. the Appraiser came to a location of my choosing where my vehicle would be to do his report of which we sent to my agency to increase the diminished value claim. They were very professional and continuously following up to make sure everything went smoothly. I have nothing but high praise for their services and will gladly use them again if I ever need to.
Their report was extremely complete with great pictures. I was able to make a decision on weather I would pursue the car immediatley. They were 1st class and I will use the again
Highly recommended. Used their services related to an automobile diminished value claim with an insurance company. The appraiser came out to my house to review the vehicle, was very professional and very thorough. Provided a 13 page report documenting the appraised value. Insurance company OF COURSE responded with their own cut rate appraisal (w/o ever looking at the vehicle). Mr. Batton and the entire team have been walking me through the process step by step and I'm very lucky to be able to rely on their expertise and knowledge.
I would never again get their value range appraisal over the phone or internet. They provide a range without any substantiating information (they will not even provide a single comparable to show that they have given a value range on the correct trim of a car). The value range they gave me is at least $10,000 higher than anything I've found in my research; it is the value range that I've seen for a higher trim of the make and model car I own. To get any proof that they did research on the correct model car, you have to pay for the more extensive, expensive appraisal.
