Dr. Yong received his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Additionally, he completed a General Practice Dental Residency at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. After completing his postgraduate dental training, he went on to complete his Oral Surgery training in 2014 with the University of California San Francisco, Community Health Centers in Fresno, CA. He went on to practice in Honolulu, Hawaii where he was featured in the February 2016 issue of Honolulu Magazine as one of the state's best Oral Surgeons before moving to Arizona in 2017. Upon arrival in Arizona, Dr Yong opened his own private practice, Chandler Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In an effort to keep up with the ever-changing world of technology and great advances in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Yong regularly attends numerous training and educational seminars. Dr Yong is Board Certified and he is also an active member of several organizations including: American Dental Association Arizona Dental Association American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons In his spare time, Dr. Yong practices Brazilian, Jiu-Jitsu, motorcycle riding, and enjoying the many recreational activities that Arizona has to offer.
