MorningStar Montessori

Morningstar Montessori is an absolute jewel for preschoolers in Cedarburg. The school focuses on the real Montessori philosophy: the children are given respect, trusted with responsibility, and given the time to choose their own "work" and complete it uninterrupted. Children can choose their own "work" based on whether they have been shown how to use that particular activity before. No other child can use that activity until it has been completely cleaned up and put back on the shelf by the previous user. My husband and I have walked into the school and have been continually amazed at how industrious and quiet the children are when they are busy with their "work". We have been through this wonderful program with one of our children already and have recently enrolled our youngest.
