Dr. Daniel Patrick Duffy, MD

I had a bad experience with this doctor. I came in to see him for a migraine headache. He gave me medications and the headache pain remained severe. He told me to see a neurologist but I could not get in to see one for 3 months. He told me he could not do anything about the matter and abandoned me to my pain. I went to see a different internal medicine doctor who told me my doctor was not using the proper up to date medications for migraine headache management. Within 5 days of my new doctors medication treatment I was headache free. I wrote a complaint to the physician division of Columbia St Mary's Medical Group to look into the matter. This doctor may need to take some continuing education classes concerning managing patient's with migraine headaches. I also thought this doctor seemed cold and uncaring in regards to the fact that my pain was so severe I could barely get lift my head out of bed to get up and care for my two children age 9 and 16. This was during the month of July when the children were home for summer break.

Scheduling is easy, wait room times are brief and Dr. Duffy is insightful, scientific and willing to hear more than one issue from a single patient. Billing and other follow-up is quick and accurate.
