        what used to be the old red barn, then a hof brau, and is now norman's grill. a new resturaunt to castro valley. normans grill is a openly friendly, family type atmosphere with homemade mashed pototoes and gravy. still adding to its menu everyday inspired cook Norman creates loving homestyle food that takes you back to when grandma made homemade soup or turkey and stuffing. cant forget about the burgers! these are real burgers handmade patties hand cut garnishes, and a special sauce that is the icing on the cake, truely a rare treat of a burger. i could go on and on but you should visit for yourself instead of me giving all the juicy details, but i will also say this.....they have great breakfast served all day! a one of a kind place in a original building or landmark of castro valley.
