1 May 2014 These people are fabulously generous! Let me tell you why: Not being able to find lily of the valley flowers to revive a tradition of the First of May I picked up as a Fulbright student some 60 years ago in Belgium, I could find no one who had any of these flowers that symbolize the renewal and affirmation of love and friendship. When, Scott, the owner of GCG Florist, returned my call and learned of my dilemma, he volunteered to dig up some lily of the valley pips from his own private home garden!!! And when I picked them up earlier today, they were given to me free of charge--who does that today?--because he did not want me to miss the opportunity of presenting the flowers to my companion of over 13 years!- Now that is a florist with a heart who understands how important it is to keep a person's emotional life humming. --All inall, the language of flowers is alive and well in Cary, NC at the GCG Florists! --Grand Merci, Scott! ----- Prof. TEV.

Highly recommended florist for timely and quality arrangements and blooming plants. While deployed to Kuwait, I needed a trustworthy florist to take care of special occasions. GCG Flowers provided a beautiful plant for a special person who knows plants by their scientific name! Her response: 'very few people know enough about gardening to be able to combine a floral WOW with something that I can then plant in the yard and enjoy it year after year. Don't know how you found this particular florist, but I am astounded by the plant and even how wonderful and professional the delivery guy was.'
