This review is for weddings at Mission Ranch.

When looking for a venue to get married you start the pro and con list. And this place has 1 huge pro and then a bunch of small cons.

Pros: Location, they have great views located in Carmel.
Cons: (1) They force you to a select set of vendors. You must use their chef, their florists, etc. Hard to price shop and find a vendor you love when they force you into their friends. (2) Force you to close down at 9:30, which is just about the time everyone is ready to party. (3) the bar for the after party has a staff that is not friendly and they are unwilling to allow the wedding party some flexibility. This bar is for locals, and locals come first. Not 100 guests that are there for a weekend. (4) The rooms are older and just so-so. Yes, the location in nice, but their is nothing really fancy or nice about the rooms. Beds and linens are old. (5) It is not located downtown, and all your guests will have to drive back to their hotels, there are not a lot of cabs in Carmel. (6) parking gets a bit crazy if you have a lot of guests, you'll need a shuttle to pull it off well. (7) Pricey! you can find a venue with more flexibility and equally great views for a better deal.

Please do note: the wedding coordinators are a delight to work with.

What an amazing view. You can watch the ocean and the sheep from the deck. They also have a wonderful Sunday brunch.

It's the view that makes this place fab. Overlooking the sea over brunch and wine. Sweet.
