Canby Transmission has taken care of my truck's issues with class. However, while my truck was in their possession it ended up with a large deep scratch across the hood. I called Zach and then stopped in to show him. He was gonna get back to me...
Two emails from me in the last month asking what's up only to get no response...
Very displeased.

The manager, Zach, was wonderful to help us figure out why the engine light on our 2007 GMC pickup was on all the time and we took it to them and it was fixed the same day.. Zach was very professional and polite and let us know about how long it would be and even showed us the bad glow plug.. I will recommend Canby Transmission to anyone and everyone.. They were fantastic!

I have been using Canby Transmission for nearly 10 years. They do fantastic work, provide exceptional communication and go that proverbial extra mile to take care of their customers. They have rebuilt the transmission in our Blazer, completely replaced the clutch in my pickup. In addition to transmission work, they have replaced head gaskets, water pumps, fuel pumps, and electrical parts for us.



two years ago I moved to Beaverton and yet I still go to Canby Transmission for ALL of my repairs! Thanks always to Jeff and the whole crew for assisting me with my clutch switch today!

I've been coming here for years after being to several other shops. The service is always great (When I drop off my car they always give me a ride home so that I don't have to wait). The owner Jeff and Hal the office manager are very informative and never try to sell me anything I don't need. I would recommend them to anyone who wants honest answers about their vehicle.

I found the service & transmission knowledge to be excellent. I wouldn't hesitate returning for transmission related problems.

Recently I had my car both serviced and repaired at Canby Transmission Inc and was quite happy with the total experience. I opted to go to a shop other than the dealer to "test the waters" so to speak. I will use Canby Transmission in the future because they were very thorough and proved to be quite cost effective. I have been taking my car to Canby Transmission for several years now.I originally took my car to the dealership where they wanted to up sell me for things that weren't even wrong with my car. Canby Transmission towed my car (at no charge) and only fixed the things that were really wrong with it. Everyone is really nice and they have taken good care of my vehicle. I have referred all of my friends and we don't even live in the area. Definitely worth the trip.

All I can say is that Jeff is one heck of a great guy to work with. He answers your questions, makes it make sense even from a woman's stand point. That is so important that I can go to a shop and they don't think that I am the "little lady" and that I am not knowlegable about cars and how they work. I agree with Jennifer, it is worth the drive. I live closer and even though there are shops in OC I will drive to Canby!
