Overall a good experience. But let's point out the bad things first:

Delivery came two days later than expected. Weather was really bad in the north east, so we understand. But we figured this is an important point to note.

One of my coffee tables had a chip in the leg. I had filed a claim for reimbursement of this item and just yesterday reserved adequate compensation.

That is all the bad things from what I have seen. Now for the good:

Extremely easy to work with. They quoted me based on my inventory, (around 9200 pounds). The process took about an hour and 15 minutes. I reserved my move with them a few days later after talking things over with my wife.

They answered the phone every single time we called. I spoke to Samantha, Daniel, and one of the supervisors Adam. All were very professional and knew what they were talking about.

Pick up process went smooth. They packed up our belongings, took apart our beds, and loaded everything into the truck. They presented me with tickets from the weigh station to show what the truck weighed before my stuff was put on it.

They delivered in a good time frame (given two days later than I was originally told). And only one item seemed to have any damage.

Again, with moving I think there will always be a couple things that go wrong, but overall this was a good smooth experience.

Selected capital moving group last minute. Needed movers here within 48 hours. Daniel assured me the truck would be here the following afternoon. The next morning I got a call from the driver they would be here in a few hours. It was 3 gentleman. They had everything loaded onto the truck within a few hours.

My belongings arrived at my new house about 9 days later. Same gentlemen. Unloaded everything, reassembled some of my furniture and placed it around the house. Still unpacking some of the boxes but nothing appears to be damaged or broken. Overall I am glad I went with capital moving group.

this was a good experience. capital moving group helped my family move from texas to pennsylvania. The price was fair and the service was good. everyone was very helpful, and samantha was very patient with me throughout the whole process. all furniture has been delivered and is in good condition. very happy.

Moving is the most stressful thing ever. Thankfully Capital Moving Group helped us move fast and efficiently. We only had a one week notice and our representative Daniel was able to fit us into their busy schedule in between holidays. Thanks for all the help!

Had a very minimal move. Capital moving group was very competitive with pricing and provided me a good service. Picked up my things early morning on pick up day and delivered them 2 days later.

Just wanted to share how grateful my family is for capital moving group. They picked up our stuff on Monday and were able to get it delivered Wednesday afternoon just in time for thanksgiving. No other moving company that we spoke to was able to do this, and to be honest we were scared that Capital Moving was just telling us what we wanted to hear. Best company I’ve ever had pleasure of dealing with. Capital Moving Group helped move my family and I from New Jersey to Florida. Service was exponentially great from our moving coordinator to quality assurance all the way down the line to the movers. Customer service was above exceptional, and on top of that we had not one damaged item like you hear from 90% of other moving companies. I would honestly give 10 stars if I could and the price was more than fair and there were no last minute surprises or revisions to the price discussed. Everything was completely transparent throughout the entire process!

Capital Moving Group moved me and my husband from MN to PA a little over a week ago. Their entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We received calls from several companies and felt the most comfortable with Capital Moving Group. They took the time to answer all of our questions, were up front with us about any hidden fees, and overall were very professional. I appreciate the help from everyone in this company!

We have a podcast (shameless plug). And we hired Capital Moving Group to move a bunch of our expensive equipment from PA to CA. We considered throwing everything in the van and making a road trip out of it, but Capital Moving Group was able to provide us with a good price. (Considering it was traveling across the entire country). We are happy confirm that we have received all of our equipment and everything is in great condition. Nothing is broken, scratched, or damaged. The movers took good care of each item and wrapped everything up securely. We are out here to chase our dreams, but if we fail, we will definitely use capital moving group to move us back!

SCAM! Do not contact them! I paid $1000 deposit to move from SC back to Colorado. They were supposed to be here on Tuesday (Wednesday being the 2nd day of the two day ‘window’). It’s now Saturday and no movers. John Butler, Gary nor Daniel will return my calls.

Very impressed with this company. I have moved several times in my life, and have never personally experienced one of the horror stories you often hear about.Thankfully! Capital Moving Group was able to provide me with a slightly less expensive quote than the company I used before, so I rolled the dice.

John set up my move and was very helpful. I can't think of one time where he didn't answer or at least return my phone calls. He even reached out several times before the move just to make sure nothing had changed and I didn't have any questions.

The drivers showed up on move day, loaded up the truck, and were on the way. My things arrived 5 days later at my new home. Everything was in good condition. There was one little chip on one of my dressers and Capital Moving Group reimbursed me for the entire dresser.

They were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone moving!

This company failed to provide services promised (long-distance moving brokerage), acknowledged they owed me my security deposit of $600.00, and failed to return it. Needless to say, I am extremely upset and I hope this review serves to warn unsuspecting consumers.

My dad keeps saying he wanted Capital Moving Group to remove our household belongings to our new home in San Francisco, CA where we had been relocated. I carefully watched these men myself doing their job with all gravity and care. They organized everything in a way nothing was missing or damaged. The most impressive thing they did was that they cleaned many of our items before packing them, even though we’ve done the cleaning earlier before they arrived, yet they repeated to make sure everything was absolutely clean. I had a fabulous experience with Capital Moving Group. From the initial point of filling out their form online to them delivering our items, it was a steady ride the whole way. The staff on the phone walked my hubby and I through the quote and how the rest of the adventure would be handled. We had known the transit was on its way and were able to pack up rooms but needed help moving heavy furniture and our large appliances (don't have friends or family in the new location). The movers were on time, handled our properties with care and delivered without damage. I can say they were the best, easiest part of our move. Didn't break the bank or our backs! The client benefit was better than average, they tended to the greater part of my worries and gave tips on the best way to move sorted out to diminish the time. Movers were extraordinary. Solid, wonderful guys, were extremely watchful and ensured that the stuff goes to the rooms it should go. They had an extraordinary state of mind and he was the most courteous and minding fellow among the movers I enlisted previously. Unquestionably use these guys.

This was my very first time I have moved to a different State after staying several years in Richardson, Texas. Relocating for the first time is never an easy task since one has to go through several and stressful processes to get it properly done. In my situation, I kept searching on the web and also asking my close friends who have moved before. I also looked at reviews on many movers’ websites and other business directories. However, I came to know Capital Moving Group based on the reviews and good reputations they have.
I moved just last month, with the help of Capital Moving Group. To start my story, the crew showed up on time and begun to disassemble all my pieces of furniture including my large double bed. The men were very careful with every single thing they did to make sure my things were well secured and also in a better condition as they met them. Knowing quite well that some movers can be neglectful with their customer’s belongings. But on the side of these men, they carefully did everything they did.

The movers were very sympathetic and pros. At a stage, I wanted to help but they told me not to worry about anything. They arranged all my things in one place in less than 2 hours before they started packing them in the van. They came with sufficient boxes and wraps so everything went so smooth and quick. They packed all my things in the truck in an hour and that looked fantastic because they saved me more time than expected.

In three days’ time, my things arrived. It was late evening so the packing workers rested until the morning before started unloading the stuff. They helped me positioned every item where it should be. By 10 am, they finished up their assignment and left.
I had a wonderful experience with this team and how I wish would get them on my next move, no matter how long that could be. They are really an amazing group!
