As a participant in the Massachusetts Laborers' Health and Welfare Fund, you and your dependents can receive health and welfare benefits. These benefits provide coverage for most medical, prescription drug, dental and vision expenses. The plan also provides a Member Assistance Program ( MAP ) that helps with personal and family issues not usually covered under a traditional medical plan. For members only, there is an income replacement component of the plan if you are not able to work as the result of an injury or illness.This site contains important information about the Health and Welfare Fund, how it works, forms and resources you'll need, and a checklist of life events that can impact your benefit.contact This information is intended only to provide highlights of the plans.
