Brothers Diner

Had been to this diner before and knew what I wanted. Described the dish: Two large pieces of fried fish, with soup or salad and dessert. Even shaped my hands in the size portion of the fish. My server sent someone else over, she said, "ok." I was concerned because she seemed distracted. the reason I went in was to use the wifi. As I waited for my meal I attempted to log on. Wouldn't work. The two females I spoke with were too busy to help me. There were two other tables in the restaurant; one of them was leaving. The busboy came over and put the lengthy code on. All three of them assured me the first character was a 1(one). didn't work for him either. We tried multiple times.Turns out it was an "I."



I know because I did not want to leave after ordering so I asked them to call the owner, who corrected them. By this time I had lost 1/2 an hour of work. My reason for going in, in the first place.



When my meal came it was 6 small pieces of fish. I had clearly and repeatedly asked for something else. The correction was made, and yes, because the potato was now cold I asked for it to be heated or replaced.



When my receipt was brought back to the table I was told, " the owner said, because there were so many problems ..."(and this is where I'm thinking because there were so many problems the bill would be comped) I was told by the woman,"you don't have to come back. I wanted to be clear, " the owner said? She repeated, "the owner said you do not have to come back."



I was the victim here, but no matter, it won't happen again. Of course I had made up my mind never to return anyway. What a way to treat customers.



Wish I had read there reviews before I went there.
