The Visitation Academy, established in 1799, is a Catholic educational institution for girls, which serves students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The academy also offers instruction in French, music, art, theater and physical education. It provides an early childhood program for children between the ages of 3 and 5. The Visitation Academy operates mothers and fathers clubs that conduct fundraising activities to support educational and enrichment programs.
