Airseal Spray Foam Insulation

Airseal is a five star outfit , from the estimate to project completion. men were very polite upon arrival to job. They removed all excess foam from job site. our firm has used other spray foam contractors in the past and none of them do that. airseal is a definite recommend for our future clients.

I was very disappointed with your company and the work the installers did.

First, I was given a date that your men were supposed to be at my house to do the spray foam insulation. I took the day off of work, and brought my two dogs to the dog sitter at 7:30 am. Witch I had to make this appointment for. You men never showed up. No Phone Call from the office or anyone. I finally called the office and was told that the men are not coming that I wasn't even on the schedule for that day. I have a email that contradicts that!! Nobody was able to let me know when they could come. A day or two latter they gave me another date.

On the phone I told your people that I had a lot of my stuff in the basement. That I needed your men to be careful with all my stuff. You assured me that the men would cover my stuff with plastic tarps. I left plenty of room off the walls for the men to do the spray foam. When they got here that day. Again taking the day off work and bringing the dogs to the sitter for another $60.00. I went over the details with your lead Forman what to spray and what areas not to spray in detail and to cover all my stuff.

The men never covered my stuff in the basement. They got overspray on a lot of my items; refrigerator, furniture, clothes. They got spray on the windows and frames, the stairs, and the finished wall area. The floor also has dots of spray foam on it.

When they were done they called me in to inspect the job. I contracted your company to spray 3" of closed cell on all my exterior walls. I had marked out 3 1/2" with a marker on the floor and different areas. When I had inspected the work. Your men had only sprayed about 1 1/2" to 2". I told your Forman and he argued with me that it was 3". I then showed him the marks that I had previously made and told him I paid for three inches. Which I was told by your salesman that 3" could be done in one pass. He then got all the equipment back out of the truck and sprayed the walls again. I think that is when they never covered anything.

The whole process was a nightmare dealing with your company from start to finish. The foam is so uneven on the walls it made framing the walls almost impossible.

Because of all the issues and the spray foam ruining a lot of my things, your men lying to me. The extra cost for my dog sitter. Myself having to take another day off of work. I will not be paying the balance. I was contemplating suing your company for the damage and the above items. But don't want to be bothered. I probably have about $1500. Worth of damage, my lost day of work $750. And $60. For the extra day for the dog sitter.

If you continue the harassment, I'll see you in court.

This company is terrible to work with. The estimator was ill-equipped and unable to explain the work needed or answer any of my questions. The proposal was incorrect. The customer service was despicable. I will use a different company for my project.

I had an appointment and took off work. No one showed up, called or emailed even though they had all my info. I tried contacting them 15 times and couldn't get through. Avoid these people.

Excellent customer service...some spots in crawl space missed...no problem having the men sent back....reasonable price. A pleasure to deal with...

Airseal was a no-show for two appointments that I had scheduled for an estimate for foam insulation in my condo in Brooklyn. I called on Tuesday, May 21 and was pleasantly surpised to receive an appointment for Thursday, May 23 at 5pm. The operator even called me back to confirm the appointment. 5pm came and went so I called the office. The person answering the phone was actually the person that was supposed to come and he said that he had the appointment down for 6:30pm. OK, misktakes happen, so we rescheduled for Friday, May 24 at 3:30. Here it is at 7pm and he is a no-show. No call. No nothing. Despite the positive reviews here, which is why I called them in the first place, I can only report that I am totally disappointed in my experience to date. Perhaps residential business is not that important to them.

Reputable business. We use them for 10-15 jobs every year for the past 5 years. They do quality work, they are experienced and timely. Its a service business and they get that. I would recommend this company based upon our relationship with them.

From estimating to getting the job done Airseal was a pleasure to work with. Truck showed up as scheduled , Men were courteous and very neat. Thank You AIRSEAL TEAM for a job well done.

Used Airseal to insulate my home in Long Island. Previously had BATS fiberglass insulation which was damaged by flooding in Hurricane Sandy and had to be completely ripped out. Was very impressed by pictures of foam insulation which had absolutely no damage at all after flood damage.



Representative from Airseal responded promptly and was at my house to give me a quote the next day. Was very professional and knowledgeable. Price was very competitive (had total of 3 bids to compare to).



Work was completed following week. Workers showed up promptly and worked quickly. Very neat job, done exactly as promised and specified. They cleaned up everything afterwords. Workers were very courteous.



Sales representative came by later that evening to check on the work and ask if I was satisfied- I was very impressed- none of my other contractors did that.

easy to deal with. very responsive after the storm. they did a wonderful job. would definitely recommend to a friend.

So happy I decided to go with this company! Great quality product and service. They took care of everything, start to finish, in a quick and efficient manner. They were extremely honest and a pleasure to deal with! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone I know!!
