When I first met Tariq he showed me an incredible apartment. I then went online and saw some good reviews and bad reviews. I am glad I went with the good reviews. This is my experience:

Tariq helped me find an amazing 1 bedroom in Brooklyn. I never worked with a broker before, by my good fortune I connected with Tariq. I got a great deal on a huge beautiful one bedroom bedroom. Tariq made the process smooth and painless. Thank you Tariq for finding me a great place to live!

Aim realty services wa great for me. I was in desperate need for an apartment, and Tariq got me what I was looking for. He is very professional and I would recommend him. I cannot imagine him being a "con-artist" or "thief" etc.

Tariq Hakeem is a criminal. "Aim New York" is the name of his one man operation that he uses to steal money from potential renters. He showed me an apartment in Bedstuy, I filled out the application and gave him all of my relevant documentation and the deposit. He said everything was ready to go until I was about to sign the lease and he informed me that the owner had changed his mind about a policy. He would not let me speak to the owner but assured me that I would be refunded completely. When I contacted him about meeting to collect my refund, he stopped answering my phone calls, texts and emails which he had promptly responded to before that time. I am unable to get a hold of him and out $1000. I went to the address listed for Aim New York, 1070 Bedford Ave, and found out that is no longer where he is located. I spoke with a current tenant of the building who knew Tariq when he had his space there, and he confirmed for me that Tariq is well known thief who stole money from the landlord of that property. Do not trust this man. Avoid at all costs.
