It was a nice place. Had chicken and dumplings. There was something in it that didn't belong plus hardly any dumplings. My daughter had the 3 cheese burger and the bun was burnt and hard.
I love the reviews on the snotty staff. Same thing with us. Reserved a table for 12 and were told we could not sit unless all of the party was there. Really? They compared us to a party of 40 that did not have everyone show up, said they lose money. My boy's steak was charcoal, when we asked for medium, and it was the size of a folded dollar bill. Really? Previous visits... I can go on about, by why bother. We have now crossed off Charleston's off our restaurant list.
Your service and your food sucks big time. I would much rather have a bologna sandwich that one of your hamburgers.
Over priced. Food is OK. Not worth what you pay. Plus the wait staff is snotty.
I love love love their coneys...but it's a8:26pm...stopped in really hungry. I live in Tahlequah and my shop is in Muskogee. Have a job to do so decided to wait and eat here since there are none in those areas. It's usually a 5 star with me but the buns are so over steamed that the more you chew, the harder they get. Ruined the rest of the cheese coneys. And I just saw a t-shirt hanging on the wall that reads BEST BUNS AROUND
They have a bad intercom system so when you go through the drive-through and you try to order the end up yelling at you. When you try to talk to them they just get hateful. Maybe they should invest in a better system or hire somebody competent to take orders. Very unfriendly place!!!
After discussing for an hour, my wife and I settled on Charleston's for our 26th anniversary dining destination. When I called the day before our Friday night date and requested to reserve "a quiet table for two at 6:30 p.m. for my anniversary", I was told "we don't do reservations for only two." I responded, "Even for a special occasion." The answer remained "no"This is terrible customer relations and policy in my opinion. It is a nice place, but I will never spend another dollar there. There are plenty of places that want the business of empty-nesters with lots of dispisable income.
