Very unsatisfactory outcome from a home inspection done in March 2007. Despite specific questions by the buyer about the condition of the paint, the inspector's report glossed over what turned out to be a failing paint job that required stripping, priming and repainting one year after the inspection. Additionally, 28 months after the inspection, the roof shingles are blowing off and the entire roof needs re-shingling. According to a roofing contractor, this roof should have been replaced three years ago - before the inspection took place! This inspector did nothing more than a cursory look at the roof from the ground, with no concerns reported about the age/condition of the roof. Money wasted on this home inspection and a huge cost incurred by the buyer due to oversight on the part of the inspector. No apparent redress available due to the inclusion of an exculpatory clause in the contract. Beware of this company!
