I have never been so disrespected by a receptionist or doctor in my life as I was by Nicole & Dr.Himmelstein. Unfortunately this was not the only negative experience that I had at that office. I went for an eye exam for glasses, as well as contacts. My insurance only pays for glasses, so I paid $75 for the contact fitting. When I called to pick up my prescriptions, they told me it would not be possible, unless I paid for ANOTHER box & came in for ANOTHER contact fitting appointment! I explained to Nicole that I had been there twice (she insisted that I had only been there once)and already had the fitting...to which she basically called me a liar! In over 20 years of wearing contacts, I have never had an experience like this, and I hope no one else has to either.(which is why I’m taking the time to write this review) The worst part is, before she knew that I wouldn’t be purchasing the glasses or contacts from her, she had no issue with providing a pair for me for free. So basically Himmelstein was going to get more money from me, one way or the other. I feel that I was punished for being honest about not purchasing the products from her! The only option left is to start over with another doctor and pay the $75 again. This is a disgusting & unprofessional way to conduct business. Needless to say, I will never be going back.

Dr. Himmelstein found a problem with my sons optic nerve and sent him to a specialist. Which we found out he had a brain tumor. If it weren't for her exam my son could be really sick now. The benign tumor was removed and he is fine. I highly recommend her to everyone. She is very thorough and knows what she is talking about.
