Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School, which includes Thurgood Marshall Middle School for Social Justice, is an educational institution where high academic standards facilitate the development of lifelong learners, problem solvers and independent thinkers. The school serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. It also operates a preschool that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The school s students participate in inquiry-based science activities through partnerships with the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk, Discovery Museum, Eli Whitney Museum, NASA, and The Jason Project. Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School features a computer laboratory and library media center. Its academic curriculum includes art, music, and health and physical education. In addition, Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School conducts classes in Spanish and Chinese. The school operates the Family Resource Center and parent-teacher association. It also offers a variety of before- and after-school programs and food and health services. Six to Six Interdistrict Magnet School is governed by Cooperative Educational Services in Connecticut.
