Brewster Police Department prevents crime, preserves order, and protects the rights, lives and property of the people in Brewster, Mass. The department has more than 15 officers and five civilians, who are committed to the preservation of public peace, investigation and prevention of crime, and the delivery of a wide variety of police services. It practices community policing on each and every shift with a variety of programs that interact with the citizens on a regular basis. Its department has officers that provides services in various areas, including elderly affairs, technology-related assistance of individuals with disabilities, the new drug abuse resistance education program, RadKids training, Internet safety, child safety seat installation, bicycle patrol, and business and neighborhood crime watch.
