Porcelain Veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. We recommend this treatment to anyone experiencing discoloration that cannot be fixed with whitening or if your teeth are damaged. Porcelain veneers are also an option if youâ€™re unhappy with the shape or look of your natural teeth.
Crowns
I had a problem with dental floss being trapped between two crowns over the weekend. I eventually was able to remove the floss but needed attention to possible damage that I may have caused to my gums and crowns. I called Monday morning at 7 a.m. and they were very helpful getting me in to see a dentist for an examination. Presently, I am a patient of Dr. Clayton but he was unable to see me. Dr. Norvell was able to help me instead and I was very pleased with his professionalism and the care I had received. Everyone in the office was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this office to others for their dental needs. Thank you for the care!

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral Surgery
His first duty assignment after residency was Chief of Prosthodontics at Fort Bliss, Texas, where he provided specialty prosthodontic treatment to a soldier population of 29,000, as well as providing prosthodontic mentorship and support for the Armyâ€™s Oral Surgery residency. While at Fort Bliss he was able to complete the requirements for board certification, becoming a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics and Diplomat of the American Board of Prosthodontics. In 2019 he received an Honorable Discharge from the Army after completing his service obligation.

Dr. Clayton was Chief of Prosthodontics in an Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry before entering private practice in 1998. Dr. Clayton is currently Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and also serves as a consultant to several post graduate dental training programs.
