Kimmies Coffee Cup

I just moved to the area about 2 months ago, from San Diego. We have a ton of breakfast places that serve a wide variety of flavors. The only place I've found for breakfast in this area, so far, is Arthur's in La Habra - I like it, the food is a little buttery/greasy but it's good homestyle cooking.
In an effort to get to know my new surroundings a little better and branch out, I wanted to try something new. I found Kimmie's on YP. My girlfriend and I arrived around 10am for Sunday brunch. The place was slammed but we still only had a 15ish minute wait. We went outside to wait and less than 10 minutes later, the hostess came out and called our name but unfortunately we didn't barely heard it when she called us the second time. We popped back into the diner but she had already called another couple and she said we'd be next. Sure enough, true to her word, we were next and our whole wait was still less than 15 minutes.

We sat in a booth along the wall and once we saw the menu we new we were in trouble. SO many choices with great descriptions, we had a hard time choosing. I ended up deciding on the Irish Benedict - amazing flavor, a little salty but when paired with the hash browns for the perfect bite, it was just that: the perfect bite.

The Mexican breakfast bowl was okay, the combo of chili and eggs was a little different but again, they made it work.

Everything was great, the food and the wait staff. You know it's going to be good when the employees "geek out" on the menu with you. I can't wait to go back for the Chicken Chipotle Wrap.
