This was my Facebook post and here is a link to the screenshots I took of their response to my friend when he wrote a review there also I could post 10 photos and posted 10 of the 14 screenshots here under their photos on yellow pages. I also posted a few screenshots of what all their customer said and how they responded by offering this type of person bashing someone on their own Facebook page a free tab. We figured there may be a wait or could even be slow due to being short staffed from the hurricane. I was understanding for the first hour we waited after being seated and even had to go get our own drinks at the bar without receiving our food. I was at one point pretty upset after I had now received food just less than 2 hours after getting to the restaurant and the manager ignoring or walking away from our table to say they would be right back. We also had seen tables twice our size come in way after us and already finished with their meal when we still didn't have our food. Even after the whole situation I figured I would just tell some friends, family, and business associates not to go there. But then last night on that same review one of their loyal customers began to personally attack us after seeing us complain at the restaurant. The restaurant also replied apologizing but not entirely taking responsibility for the points we were bringing up with the disrespect from the managers or who we think was a manager. We aren't really sure. Well their self proclaimed loyal patron continued to bash us. I get it ...we didn't see eye to eye but I wouldn't ever speak the way he was to us (please read his comments below on the post or screenshots provided) Then after all that was over we kinda just laughed it off. That was until the restaurant again replied today and offered him a free bar tab for supporting them through such a difficult time.... just please read the comments made by the restaurant because at that point I decided more people should know if possible how they work... they didn't offer to comp our food but instead offered a 20 percent discount which we offered them 20 bucks and said we won't ever be coming back ever again. After a few more minutes the manager took the 20 and said that's good then I guess. Take a look for yourself in the comments. I can't make this up.....Edit:I also want you guys to know that there is a lot of vulgar language in some of these comments before you click on the pictures.
I have been going to Central Cafe since it opened. The food is, and always has been outstanding. The last three times I was there however I was extremely disappointed in the service. The wait staff is more concerned with socializing with each other and their phones than taking care of patrons. There was no checking back with us after we got our food, we had to go up to the counter to get something we requested and they did not bring, and they never refilled our drinks. Where is Donna (owner) when you need her?
My family and I bought a Groupon and decided to dine at Acapulco. The food was very good and the blood orange margarita tasty! When we checked out, we had an issue with redeeming the Groupon and to say the least, the way I handled it... It was not my finest moment. To their great credit, the server and the manager were polite and professional, let me "get it out" and made it work. Gentlemen, I took my frustration with Groupon out on you. Thank you for providing excellent customer service and handling the situation so professionally. Jim T.
Always treated as family. Edgar is an awesome waiter. Their salsa is the best in town. Love the margaritas
This restaurant is so unprofessional! Workers were cursing the entire time. They weren't even working they were just sitting in a booth talking while they had customers there. I saw one of the worker drinking alcohol. Don't know if he was still on the clock but either way you shouldn't be drinking while in uniform. Other then that food was ok but not great. Never going back!
Fast service, good food...a little spicy for me, but good! Manager was nice. Food delivered fast and hot.
First class American dine in fast food. Great people and good music. Food could be better, but that doesn't matter you can have a good time here.
Consistently visit Cracker Barrels while travelling from Canada.Have too say, the Chicken Noodle Soup at Bradenton is the most flavourful Chicken Noodle Soup I have had at a Cracker Barre.Additionally, Shannon, our server, was/is One of The Best. Very attentive, efficient and courteous. l
Charming, great food, small restaurant. This is one of the original fabulous owner-run restaurants in the Village of the Arts in Bradenton. I love the lavender flatbread with hummus, but it's the desserts that I crave. Bliss.
