Boulder Country Day School, founded in 1988, is a private, nonprofit educational institution, offering preschool through eighth grade education. Its academic program includes eclectic arts and exciting foreign language, computer, science and sports programs. The school also offers classes in art, music, drama, physical education, foreign language and computer instruction. Its campus includes a preschool classroom building, and elementary classroom building, a middle school building, a full-size gymnasium and performance stage, and an administration building. The school also houses a library, science lab, art room, a fully networked computer lab, and a more than 9,000-square-feet playground. Boulder Country Day School additionally offers life skills instruction for the sixth graders that includes basic health information, special guest presentations in topics, such as martial arts, life saving techniques, sports fitness and conditioning, relaxation and meditation techniques, and various other topics. The school is located in Boulder, Colo.
