CAB Health & Recovery Services is one of the leading drug treatment and prevention agencies that serves communities throughout northeastern Massachusetts and Greater Boston. It offers drug education, street outreach and HIV/AIDS prevention programs. Founded in 1958, it provides intensive outpatient therapy for individuals, families and teenagers, as well as special programs for women, gamblers and after-care prison groups. In addition, the agency operates a work-life balance employee assistance program for its employees, as well as offers online references to help find solutions for the everyday challenges of work and home. Its programs are licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The agency receives funding from the North Shore United Way. CAB Health & Recovery Services is affiliated with Northeast Health System and operates a treatment center in Boston.
