Boone Drugs is a chain of 12 retail pharmacies serving the Boone, N.C.- area. The original store, founded in 1919 and incorporated in 1939, continues to thrive in downtown Boone. It offers a full-service pharmacy with prescriptions compounded, an old time soda fountain and a grille that is open for breakfast and lunch. It also sells household items and rustic gift items.
