Russo Corporation, founded in 1956, is a site work firm, specializing in foundations, drilled shafts, excavating, site preparation, underground utilities and shoring services. The company has completed projects of all sizes and conditions, ranging from slurry along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, to limestone and gneiss rock excavations. In addition to a complete mechanical shop, warehouse and a yard, its drill rigs range from the small, mobile pressure diggers to crane attachments capable of drilling more than 10-foot diameter shafts over 200-feet deep. Russo Corporation has completed projects with various state departments of transportation, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The company is also a certified installer of A.B. Chance Helical Screw Anchors. Russo Corporation s excavating and underground utilities division has equipment that is capable of performing all types of site demolition and preparation, earthwork, rockwork, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer and water line installations.
