Established in 1952, Big Spring High School is a part of the Big Spring Independent School District. The school offers French and Spanish language courses and maintains art and Bible clubs. It offers multimedia and theater classes and organizes a range of sports activities, such as cheerleading, cross-country, football, basketball, swimming and tennis. Big Spring High School also maintains a local chapter of the National Honor Society and is located in Big Spring, Texas. The school additionally provides Macintosh notebook computers. Its theater classes include hands-on activities, such as painting, set dressing and costume designing. Big Spring High School also organizes driver education classes and provides career programs in metal and electrical trades, industrial arts and construction.
