General Info: Bethesda PT is a physical therapy clinic located in Suite 301 at 6410 Rockledge Dr, Bethesda, MD. Our patients are critical to us, and we are happy to share that many of them have had a great deal of success at our physical therapy clinic! Our physical therapists treat back pain, hip and knee pain, arthritis, etc. Some of our services include physical therapy, manual therapy, dry needling, and blood flow restriction.

Arthritis
Primary Care
At your first visit, we will need your driver’s license or photo ID, and insurance card. Your private insurance plan may also require you to bring a prescription or referral from your primary care physician. If you have Medicare coverage, you will need a prescription from your primary care physician, dated within 30 days of your first visit to Bethesda Physical Therapy.

Ultrasound
Our clinicians are trained to design individualized exercise programs and protocols that are established for improving range of motion, flexibility, strength, and endurance. We also use traditional therapies such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction. We incorporate state–of–the–art equipment for strengthening, joint proprioception and sports specific rehabilitation.
MRI
Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history and a list of your medications. Bring any scans/MRI reports if you have them and they are relevant. For the neck/upper body, please bring a short-sleeved shirt and for the lower body, shorts will suffice. (We have shorts and t-shirts available to use if you forget to bring yours.)

Bethesda Physical Therapy is proud to have expert physical therapists on staff who have obtained and achieved advanced certifications in orthopedics, sports, dry needling, and the McKenzie Method.
Pinched Nerve
I have a pinched nerve which causes extreme pain down my arm. And within a few days of physical therapy with Allison Ayers I was feeling better. I do exercises and stretches. I also receive heat and stimulation at the end. I would highly recommend Bethesda Physical Therapy.
Orthopedic Surgery
Our orthopedic physical therapists diagnose, manage, and treat disorders and injuries of the musculoskeletal system including but not limited to rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery. Our clinicians in Bethesda and Kensington handle acute trauma such as sprains, strains, joint and soft tissue injuries of insidious onset such as tendinopathy, bursitis, and even deformities like scoliosis.

Manual Therapy
Our facilities in Bethesda and Kensington employs many approaches to meet each patient’s needs. These may include a variety of traditional healing techniques which emphasize a hands–on approach and may include procedures such as both joint and soft tissue mobilization, muscle energy techniques and other forms of manual therapy.
