Gems Bagels & Deli

I've been to gems in port monmouth, holmdel, and both in hazlet. They are all great but this one is Belford is horrible. Actually horrible doesn't begin to describe how disgusting the food was. I got macaroni salad that was definitely not made that day. It was old, undercooked macaroni that had a pound of salt in it and either had a bad non name brand mayo that tasted off or it was hellmans that was past its date. This was by far the most disgusting macaroni salad I've ever had in my life and of course I was not able to eat it. My husbands egg and cheese sandwich was ok and the egg bagel was ok but my pumpernickel bagel was as hard as a rock and could not have been made that day. I got lock jaw trying to eat it. I was knocking on it to show my husband how hard it was. At least we found a little humor in this lol
