Can I Get a Pet if I Live in a Small Apartment? »

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Living in small space doesn't mean you can't have a furry friend -- it just means you have to do some planning.
We've put together a small list to get you started on your journey -- and the first step starts with a single box.
Cute place surrounded by wooded forests and more. Never really had any problems. Love the amenities - the indoor pool is particularly nice!
We have lived here for two years, and we have been really pleased with it.One of the important things for us is that the management is great! They are kind, helpful, even compassionate. If we give a work order, they generally come the same day to fix the problem. We can go to them with any problem, and we even like to talk with them. The complex has got an indoor, year-round (!) swimming pool (not too warm, but not too cold either), a spa, a gym (with all kinds of equipment), a billiards table, a foosball table, and a sauna. There are quite a few good grocery stores nearby, such as Trader Joe's, Fred Meyer's, WinCo, and several restaurants and shops (toys, clothes, etc.).It is approx. a 5 minute walk from Beaverton Transit Center, which means you do not get the noise of the traffic, but you can reach Portland, Washington Park (Zoo, Children's Museum, World Forestry Center), or Hillsboro in less than half an hour using public transport (MAX, buses, train), including walking. (Using Trimet means much cheaper entry and train tickets at the Zoo for example.) The apartments are not luxurious, but nice, with good floorplans, and mostly quiet; we had really good neighbors most of the time. Unlike in our previous apartment, we did not get black mold here. One of the managers has also examined the apartments for all kinds of contaminants (he has had a training for that), such as lead paint and radon gas, and found the apartments clean. We have birds and a cat, too (for a small monthly fee); only you cannot have a dog (unless it is a prescribed "comfort animal"); so dogs barking have never been a problem. We have lived elsewhere, and have checked out several other places in the neighborhood, and we definitely recommend this apartment complex!
Disgusting company, my dad works for the verterns association as a software engineer and he just drove in from Washington DC with my autistic brother in a truck with all their belongings, they decided to move back out here. They called and were told there was availability but when he drove up to take a look they completely turned him and my brother away and said there was no availability. Lying, discriminating little turds. My dad has to make more money than any of the residents currently living there but because he's driving an older truck or because my brother is autistic they were flat out TURNED AWAY without even an option to fill out an application. He's just looking for a cheap place to stay to get established.
This year a rent increase of 100-200.00 and last year nearly $100 per month. The outside is dirty, dirty windows/chipped dirty doors, just recently replaced/painted the stair railings which were literally falling apart. Outdated on the inside. Very noisy, kids screaming, people blare music and have parties all day, sometimes well into the night. Single pane windows, poor insulation: hot in the summer and cold in the winter, your utility bills will reflect it. If you share a wall with a neighbor, expect to hear them at night. I have been woken up on at least two occasions to people arguing in the parking lot out front, plus constant car alarms, motorcycles starting, etc. With everyone moving here and to Oregon, rent will keep increasing alarmingly. I moved in here around four years ago at 735.00 for a two bedroom, now I believe it has nearly doubled. With everyone moving here, I think it is pretty safe to say that you will keep seeing a significant increase in rent here each year.
I moved into these apartments because in comparison to other apartments, these were affordable. I was not aware then of the high rent increases that occur each year, not once since I have lived here has there not been a rent increase and its usually around 50-80.00 a month! It's not like the money is being spent on improving the way this place looks, the cupboards are still ugly brown formica from the 70's, the apartment doors are scratched and peeling (some are an ugly orange color) the rails by the stairs are chipped and the paint is peeling and the patios or stairs are never pressure washed or re painted. Due to the single pane windows and poor insulation, it is very hot in the summer and freezing in the winter, it's a constant battle to get the temperature right. Plus a high electric bill to go along with it. The office people are pleasant and helpful but the property management company doesn't seem concerned about much except raising the rent to make more $$$
The management couldn't be any nastier...The apartments are unkempt and if you ask for assistance with anything The management act as if your second class citizen. The worst.
Horribly managed. The manager was neglectfull. Coackroaches were horrible throughout the entire complex. Badly kept on grounds area. Cigarette buts and huge amounts of trash everywhere. The manager had family living in units for free. The epitome of a slum lord.
Horrible management, moldy units, and overall terrible pricing. Played nearly $9000 total (deposits, rent, and fees) for my 4 month stay in a 2bedroom upstairs unit. Unhelpful, stingy, overall rude management more than negates any upsides from its central location. A bit more time spent searching for a place will be well worth it.
The apartment started out wonderful. Near the MAX, close to shopping, restaurants & Cedar Hills. The complex was recently changed to non-smoking. I moved in under that circumstance, only to find out people continue to smoke INSIDE their apartment units, which share an interior hallway, so you constantly get second hand cigarette smoke inside your apartment. I politely let the management know this was occurring on a multi-daily basis and the on-site management team, Ralph & Judy told me they could do nothing about it and didn't even attempt to stop the problem. I hoped to work with management to solve this problem together, and they were not supportive or willing to work with me whatsoever. In addition to smoke filled apartments and common areas, the apartments have MOLD everywhere. If it is not visible to the eye, which a lot of it must be in the walls as we started smelling it a month or so into our lease. You can't leave anything out (butter in butter dish for instance) overnight without it molding. Overall HORRID experience and terrible management company - Carla Properties. Avoid them at ALL costs.
The complex is not clean nor is it quiet, and if you complain against the largely illegal immigrant populated Mexican majority tenants about their unlawful conduct, the white landlord will evict you unlawfully; even if your rent is federally funded, the landlords and owners Cecilia Thompson and Larry/Ann Branch, will lie and evict you. Don't go to the country bigoted court in Beaverton; go to federal court.
