General Info: Founded in 2004, Arkema is a diversified chemical manufacturing company. It specializes in industrial chemicals and vinyl products. The company has various specialty divisions that provide hydrogen and organic peroxides, catalysts, coatings, epoxides, additives, solvents, aerosols, resins and polymers. Its brands include Norsocryl, Luperox, Forane, Fascat, Kynar, Pebax and Platamid. Arkema has a research and development department for strategic research, evaluation of process technology and information resources. It serves a wide range of markets, such as the plastics and polymers, oil and gas, agriculture, construction, chemical processing and automobile industries. Arkema employs more than 2,200 individuals and has over 35 manufacturing facilities worldwide. The company has one of its manufacturing facilities in Beaumont, Texas.
