I hope you do not have a repair / extended warranty agreement with this company. I made a claim 4 months ago, they accepted responsibility but only wanted to pay 1/2 the costs and then when I said something is better than nothing and accepted it they never sent me a check and refuse to return my calls.

DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY ON BUYING SERVICE CONTRACTS FROM THIS COMPANY!!!



I bought a Samsung Plasma from butterflyphoto, and I was offered this 3 Year premium service contract. I didn't really want it at first, but the price was real good. Therefore, I bought my TV with it. 2+ years later, my TV broke. I called them, and they sent a technician to my place to repair it. After 3 visits, it was determined that it couldn't be repaired. I was given two options: 1. Get a refurbished Samsung from them (Same model). 2. Get a check of $725. I never had any luck with refurbished products, so I chose to get the check from them. I was told it would take 6~8 weeks. 10 weeks later, I still don't have it. I then started calling them everyday. Their representative would transfer my call to one of their managers who never answered or returned my call. Not to mention, every time I called them, it would take 5~30 minutes before someone picked up the call. This company is totally a scam! Please stay away from them. If you really need to service contracts, buy them from companies like Circuit City and Fry's Electronics. Stay away from companies like Repair Tech Inc.
