I have had two very bad experiences with CVS that have made me come to the conclusion that I no longer want to use them as my pharmacy. The first incident happened about two and a half years ago at the CVS on Choctaw and Plank Road in Baton Rouge I was given the wrong medication for my infant child. My last and final incident happened a couple days ago. I was given the wrong medicine for my ten year old daughter unlike the last time she took the medicine, and when I called the pharmacy they put me on hold after I told the they gave my child the wrong medicine. I called the poison control with advice from the hospital who checked in with me periodically. What gets me the most is when I did get in touch with the pharmacist they were more concerned with me bringing the medicine in and changing it out for the right one and never asked about my child. John at the poison center was great he called back to see how my child was doing and told me what to expect
