FACTS:

-Active duty Service member/custodial parent looking for $16K in back C/support

-hired her from out-of-state, and only got to speak with her 2-3 times(unknowingly charged handsomely for each call) about my case.

-Very clear on what I wanted, and the time-frame in which it needed to happen.

-Timeline blown, costing me handsomely for repeatedly re-schedulled travel arrangements.

-flew in from out-of-state as "required," only to show up for court and find out by judge((this is MY OPINION, but trust me, I was there!) based on his surprise that I was even there), that it was not necessary. costed me big, and probably just solidified her justification to keep all the cash. "Trial expenses, and such!"

-got nothing I asked for, save a piece of paper stating that deadbeat mom, if she ever decides to, now owes a little more c/support monthly (MINIMUM!).

-Bottom line up front~(MY OPINION, again...for legality) Be prepared to leave the courtroom and know that you got screwed over. Either by apathy, or lethargy. Either way you ain't getting what you paid for. I expected a hell of a lot more from someone who's been doing this for this many years.

Must be nice to charge so much and screw it all up...and still get paid! Lawyers and politicians...man they got it made!

Excellant attorney. Very thorough and professional. Very smooth in the local court's systems, and, seems to command a lot of respect from peers, judges, etc. I was impressed. My experience was seemless, and without major conflicts. Mrs. Piper's professionalism was on par with others of her caliber that were far more expensive than her firm. I got my money's worth.
