Ray's Auto Sales

I purchased my 1999 Ram 1500 SLT from Ray almost 5 years ago. At the time I bought it, Ray himself agreed to pay to have the cracked windshield replaced. He did this without delay. He also helped me with licensing all the while knowing I was a "Yankee from up north"! When I first looked at the truck, Ray tossed me the keys and told me to road-test myself to my own satisfaction. The truck had over 200,000 miles on it when Ray sold it to me, but I took care of its little aches and am STILL driving it today!

Ray sold it to me for a great price and the entire transaction was one of mutual understanding. I know that Ray and other dealers get a bad rap at times, but I also know of those who will deliberately deceive dealers by hiding all they can on their trade-ins to get as much as they can for them.

The bottom line? Check the vehicle thoroughly no matter WHO you purchase it from. Me? I would do business again with Ray any day. I just wouldn't box with him!

Very good a being a used car salesman. I bought a 2002 chevy 1500 4x4 with 135k miles. Check engine light came on during test drive. He told me "it just needs to be driven". Get home and the gas tank was leaking. They had JB Welded the tank to hide the leak. The check engine light was the knock sensors not "it just needs to be driven". During the sales pitch they mentioned the transmission fliuid and filter had been changed. Well 1,000 miles later the transmission went out. I think they changed the fluid because the transmission was slipping. Why else would they have spent money to Change the transmission fliud?? Overall do not buy a car from RAYS Auto Sale.
