        The centerpiece of the Davies Manor Historic Site is the Davies Manor historic log-cabin, believed to be the oldest surviving home in Shelby County. The thirty-two acres of land around the home feature numerous outbuildings, including a former sharecropper's cabin and a commissary -- both of which are originally to the site. Visitors may also explore two nineteenth century log cabins. These structures were moved to Davies Manor in 2006 from the Libertyland amusement park in mid-town Memphis. Additionally, the property contains several gardens and a wooded walking trail that is currently being developed into a designated arboretum.
