My job recently transferred me to Bakersfield, CA. Two months ago, I woke up with a severe toothache. Since I wasn't familiar with the area, and couldn't drive to my home town, I called 1-800-Dentist. I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect when I was referred to Star Dental. When I called, they were able to take me in immediately. The staff was very nice and professional. Dr. Rajbanshi was also very comforting during the procedure, consistently asking how I was doing. His office called twice after my root canal just to make sure I was feeling ok and didn't have any issues. Even though going to the Dentist was not on the top of my "to do list" in my new home, Dr. Rajbanshi and his staff made me feel welcome and right at home. I had an excellent result and would highly recommend Dr. Rajbanshi. I look forward to making him my personal Dentist as long as I'm in Bakersfield.

I went into this office. As I was in pain, paying cash, etc, I expected that They would take care of me---as I had called and made the appointment ahead of time and told them to schedule me for a root canal. On the day I went in something felt off about the place. First I was forced to stand there while they took my picture with a webcam at the reception counter--keep waiting for them to hang a booking number around my neck. Then I was handed a bunch of papers to fill out, with about 3 pages having to do with giving up my rights to sue this Dentist--that really put me off. And finally, even though I was in pain, had called ahead, was paying in full in cash, etc, they refused to treat me for the root canal because I did not have my Driver's Lic on me. I told them I had lost it and it would be 3 weeks before I had a new one. They said they would reschedule me for 4 weeks. Funny thing is, they would see me for the exam, xrays and teeth cleaning without any ID that day. As the owner of Rosedale Veterinary Hospital, I was appalled at their callous attitude. They have no problem leaving you in pain for weeks if you have no ID---makes no difference if you can pay or not. I ended up at another Dentist the next day who was awesome, no ID, professional discount, and no papers that I had to sign promising not to sue if he screwed up.



Stay away from this Dentist, the office is below par and the treatment is appalling.
