Developmental disabled adults WHO attend the program are part time employees of just JOHNSON’S. They are paid minimum wage and are assigned to ONE of OUR SIX work centers. Each work center replicates real life work settings. Consumers work side by side with CO workers and supervisors to complete work assignments and tasks in a timely and productive manner. In the work center. The focus is on helping the developmentally disabled adult learn to BE a good employee. Problems that occur naturally in the work setting are treated AS teachable moments. Where supervisors mentor and coach the employees in employability skills. The progress of each individual is carefully monitored to insure that the program is assisting them in meeting their goals.
